| Observer | can view the device status and information. |
Groups#
As seen earlier in creating a group, Groups are restricted spaces in your organization.
By assigning your user to one or more groups, they will only perform their roles within that group's context.
For example, if you assign the role User to the group “IT-Support”, then the user will only be able to manage devices and configurations associated with the group “IT-Support”.
Warning
If you do not specify a group, the user will have their Role on ALL devices in your organization. Please make sure you specify a group accordingly.
Danger
Even if it is linked to a group, a user with an Administrator role will be able to modify himself to access the other devices and other groups. He will also be able to create another administrator with full access. So please use the administrator role with caution
Configuration#
As seen earlier in Set a configuration, a configuration controls which apps, settings, restrictions, and system behaviors are enforced on a group of devices. Regarding the user, you have to inform which configurations he may have access to. It's important to give him access to the devices configurations he's going to need to observe or manage devices.
